Privacy Policy

On most pages, we collect nothing at all. There are no accounts here, no comment boxes, no contact forms — so you can browse the whole site without handing over a single personal detail.

One exception: our newsletter. If you sign up for the Data-Certified Buying Brief, the email address you type in goes to our email provider, Brevo, and is handled under Brevo's privacy policy ↗. Signing up is double opt-in — we'll email you a confirmation link first — and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. We never sell the list, and we never rent it out. It's yours to leave any time.

We don't set tracking cookies. No advertising pixel, no session recorder, no analytics cookie — none of that lives here.

When you click a "Check Price on Amazon" or similar button, you leave our site. The retailer on the other side (Amazon, for example) sets its own cookies — including the little affiliate cookie that tells them we sent you — under its own privacy and cookie policies. We never see, store, or control those cookies.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site. We may add links to other retailers under similar affiliate programs, and the same rule applies to all of them.

Commissions never touch the scores. Every score here is computed from manufacturer-published specs and tracked market data, under a fixed formula we've published for anyone to read — see How we score ↗. There are no sponsored placements.

Our product pages link out to manufacturer spec pages (our cited data sources) and to retailer product pages (our affiliate destinations). Some pages also embed official brand videos hosted on YouTube, served through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. The moment you follow one of those links or press play, the third party's own policies take over.

We run no analytics or tracking software — no Google Analytics, no tag managers, no heatmaps. We don't measure who visits or what you read.

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL — simply to deliver pages and protect the site. We don't use those logs to profile anyone.

This site isn't directed at children under 13. And since we collect no personal data at all, we don't knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.

If this policy changes, the new version simply replaces this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top moves forward. Anything big — say, launching an email list or adding analytics — will also get a note on the site's changelog.

We don't run a public email address. You can reach the team through our Pinterest business profile, pinterest.com/Gracej316858 ↗, where we publish new data rankings weekly. If your question is about data held by a third party — Amazon, Pinterest, YouTube, Cloudflare — they're the right folks to ask directly.
